The Historic Brookdale Lodge and Mountain Music Productions welcome El Sol Santa Cruz for a festive afternoon of salsa for Cinco de Mayo, Sunday, May 5 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm outdoors in the Brookdale Beer Garden!

El Sol is a 10 piece band devoted to Salsa music - especially Salsa Dura NY-style. The band plays original arrangements of classic 70s songs from Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, and Willie Colon as well as Latin standards and even a few Beatles songs. Two singers, two trombones, flute, bongo, conga, timbale, keyboards and bass create an infectious groove that will bring you to the dance floor.
